The T-IgE FIA Test is a fluorescence immunoassay that is used with the FIAflex™ Fluorescent Immunoassay Analyzer for the quantitative detection of total IgE (T-IgE) in human serum and plasma specimens. IgE is a mediator of allergic response. The concentration of IgE in serum can provide useful information for the differential clinical diagnosis of atopic and non-atopic diseases when combined with other clinical indicators.
